Learning Without Borders helps refugee children settle into a new school system. Many have missed months or years of school, and are learning a new language at the same time. We provide backpacks and supplies at the start of the year, tutoring in reading, math and English, and enrichment trips.
What happens in Learning Without Borders
Each child starts the year with a backpack of supplies. Volunteer tutors help with reading, math and English after school, and enrichment trips open up the city and the world beyond the classroom.
Who it helps
School age refugee children, and younger children getting ready to start school.
