The 2026 Little Smiles Toy Drive
For a child who has lost almost everything, a new toy of their own is not a small thing. This winter we want every child we serve to unwrap a new toy chosen for their age. Here are three ways to help.
Three ways to give toys
Donate for toys
We buy in bulk, so a gift often goes further than a toy bought at retail.
Host a toy drive
Collect toys at your school, office, team or place of worship. We send a ready made kit and arrange pickup for larger drives.
Send a toy
Email hello@littlesmiles.foundation and we will reply with where to send it and what is most needed.
What toys are most needed?
Our children range from toddlers to teenagers, and older children are the most often forgotten. These are always welcome:
- Soccer balls and sports gear
- Art kits, crayons and sketchbooks
- Building sets and puzzles
- Books for early readers in English and in the languages families speak
- Dolls and action figures that reflect many cultures
Please avoid used toys, toy weapons, and anything with small parts for children under three.

Toy drive questions
Is my toy donation tax deductible?
Yes. Email hello@littlesmiles.foundation with what you gave and we will send a receipt.
Can I donate used toys?
We can only accept new, unwrapped toys, so every child receives something that is fully theirs.
When do toys reach the children?
Toys are given to children in December, through the community groups we work with.
Can my company match or sponsor the drive?
Yes. Email hello@littlesmiles.foundation and we will send sponsorship details.
Every gift becomes a toy in a child's hands
We buy new toys in bulk, chosen for each age, so your gift goes further.
